Toronto Agile Tour 2010 Conferences – Submit Your Session!

August 6, 2010

The Toronto Agile Community invites and encourages you to submit a session for the Toronto Agile Tour 2010 conference. You have until August 20th, 2010 to do so. So soon!? Don’t worry.

You don’t need to have your session completed by this date. You just need to send us your proposal for a session and we’ll help you create the best possible session. How? We’ll be giving you feedback as you develop and refine your session. Remember the conference is not until October 20th. There’s plenty of time to iterate and make it great. We’re here to help.

Why Should You Present a Session at the Conference?
o To share great ideas and/or experiences on Agile with the community
o To become recognized in the community for your thought leadership on Agile
o To give back and grow the community that will benefit us all

What Kind of Stuff Can I Present?

The conference will be attended by Agile coaches, consultants, developers, project managers, executives and others. So the topics you can present are your choice. You are also welcome to choose from the following presentation styles:
o You can do a workshop session
o You can do a presentation
o You can do an interactive/demo session
o You can do games
o And other interesting ideas that are not on the list. We’re open.

There are three time slots for you to choose from: 45 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes. We prefer workshops to be in the long time slot (60 – 90 minutes)

Okay. You’re excited to present. Take the first step by emailing with the following information:

Title – What’s your session about in only a few words?
Length – How much time will you need (45′, 60′ or 90′)?
Format – Presentation, simulation, game, workshop, panel, etc.
Session Abstract – A short description of your session; this will also be published in the program
Your Bio – Tell us who you are

As soon as we receive your proposal, we can create an account that allows you to manage your proposal(s) on the website, and give and receive feedback.

We look forward to hearing about your exciting session proposal by August 20th.

Very Best,
Toronto Agile Community
